Martin Guitars

Martin guitars were founded in 1796 (wow, these are pretty old!). As you probably guessed, this line of guitar was founded by someone named Martin: Christian Frederick Martin to be specific. He was born in Germany and when he was 15, he moved to Vienna and took up an apprentice job with Johann Stauffer (as you may recall, is also another famous guitar maker).
